"But the LORD is with me as a mighty ..." Jeremiah 20:11



Here is a beautiful statement from a man called from his youth to be the mouth of God to the people of Israel. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Jeremiah 1.5
Do you know that you are important to God?

Beyond the specific mission that he received, Jeremiah was also aware of all its frailties. "I am the man who has seen the misery ...". Lamentations 3: 1. Therefore, it will continue to rely on God to find the strength and courage to go through with his task. "I say: the Lord is my treasure, that's why I hope in him." Lamentations 3.4

In the scriptures, the man is compared to a "clay pot .." 2 Corinthians 4.7. A metaphor that reminds us of the fragility of ours.

Who, at some point in his life did not seem to be broken into pieces? Fortunately it was only an impression, the good hand of the Almighty was on you. "What then shall we say with regard to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8.31

The Almighty is unparalleled potter. He formed you from his hands and covers you of its power. He is your creator and this is the only reason why your value is priceless! "O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and thou hast formed us, we are all the work of your hands." Isaiah 64.8

Do you know that you are important to God? He wants to see you in good shape standing and committed to the service he has given you. One thing is certain, he walks beside you. Like Jeremiah, you press power to fill your weaknesses. "For I, the Lord, am your God, I firmly hold your right hand ..." Isaiah 41.13

A Prayer for Today Lord, fill me with your power! Amen.
