All prophets
Acts 2:25 and 30 - For David said of him : "I saw the Lord constantly before me...", as he was a prophet...
Some time ago, I was telling you about John the Baptist, a prophet without a miracle. Even though David did great things, he too did not perform miracles when he was a prophet. I could tell you about Anne, the prophetess in the Temple who had a service in intercession ; of Jude and Silas, of the prophets, filled with anointing, but to “speak” (see Acts 15:32).
Many teach that a prophet should always be accompanied by miracles. When I read my Bible, I don't see the same thing. To tell the truth, I agree with the wish of Moses who said : "May all the people of the Lord be composed of prophets ; and may the Lord set his spirit upon them" (Numbers 11:29). It was also the desire of Paul who will say : "You can all prophesy successively" (1 Corinthians 14:31). The danger of teaching that a prophet is to perform miracles is to become elitist and open ministerial recognition to a very small minority, setting the bar very high.
Brothers and sisters in the prophetic ministry, if you love the title and the power it confers, if you close the door to the youngest, your spirituality becoming inaccessible, if you consider yourself the sole spokespersons of God because the gift is manifest in power... put on a cloak of camel hair and return to the desert for the Lord has yet to teach you about humility. Remember that your mandate is to make other prophets by perfecting the saints (Ephesians 4:12).
My beloved, it is the Lord who chooses men and women to serve Him and be His spokespersons. It is again He who confers the dose of anointing necessary for the mandate He gives. Some will perform miracles, others will only have the duty to speak on his behalf. The important thing is not to seek the promotion of the title but to have a humble and grateful heart because He wants to use us for His glory.
Yes the Lord can make you his prophet by song, by intercession, by preaching, by encouragement... Church of Jesus Christ, may you recognize the potential that God has placed in your womb.
Good reflection !
