At the Desert School

"He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness." Luke 4.1

Do you feel like walking on dry land, as if all around you was empty and desolate ? What if this time of the desert were permitted by the Lord ? Jesus Himself was led to the desert by the Holy Spirit.

Receive this truth today: you are not in the desert to die there but to be trained by God. Like Jesus, you are led to this place, this season, so that you can develop your relationship with God and be transformed every day a little more into his image.

In these particular times, Jesus "impresses" on you his character and abilities, in order to make you a miracle among the nations, a support for those around you, a living testimony of the grace and power of God to everyday life in your life.

You are not in the desert to die there but to be trained by God.

It is true that in the desert time may seem long. We must be enduring, even if it is not the easiest.

Writer Dutch Sheets once said : "Lack of endurance is one of the main causes of failure, especially in prayer, we do not know how to wait, but we need microwaves, but God, prefers what is marinated ..."

Today My friend, I would like to encourage you not to stop, but to continue to advance, to the end.

Persevere, the oasis is not far !

A prayer for today

"Father, when I walk in this wilderness, give me the grace to look at my situation with your eyes, draw me close to you, and give me the strength to cling to you, even when despair strikes You have begun a work in my life and you will finish it excellently according to the immensity of your love. "In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
