Become extra !

"If anyone forces you to go a mile, do two more with him." Matthew 5.41

Do you know the difference between an ordinary person and one who is extraordinary ? This is the "extra", that's all ... It's the step that makes all the difference, the "little extra" that does not look at first, but that metamorphoses a banal destiny in a life rich in adventures. Yes, the gap between an ordinary life and an extraordinary life is the extra.

And if we just started to do a thousand more, this little extra that will change everything and lead our lives to a new stage ?

Sometimes we imagine so many grandiose and improbable stories that finally we do not do much glorious because we do not feel up to it. There is a fantasy that surrounds the notion of extraordinary.

Here is an important question to ask yourself : What makes me different from an ordinary person ?

For example : If I am in church in the host team, how am I different from the one who receives people in a store and who does not have Jesus in his life ? What is my "extra" ?

If I take care of children, how am I different from the lady in the neighborhood daycare ? As a volunteer in a social association, what is the particularity that distinguishes me from the one who works in an organization of the same type, but who is not a Christian? What's my step more ?

Matthew 5.46 : "If you greet only your brethren, what do you do extraordinary, and do not the Gentiles do the same ?" Those who do not know Jesus can also say hello with a smile, do good, and even volunteer in charity ONG to help the poor. Do you understand… ? What is the step that distinguishes us as a child of God ?

The difference between an ordinary husband and an extraordinary is the sweet little word left on the table before going to work. The contrast between an ordinary and an extraordinary mother is the five minutes she takes in the morning with her children to pray with them before going to school. The distinction between an ordinary and extraordinary workman is the ten minutes more where he remains to finish his task.

And if we just started to do a thousand more, this little extra that will change everything and lead our lives to a new stage ?
