Blessed for bless !

"Have readiness and not laziness, be fervent of spirit, serve the Lord." Romans 12.11

God wants to give us the best. His will is not that we live, but on the contrary that we prosper and overflow his goodness. Our part, as his children, is to be well disposed and obedient. It is not enough to obey what the Word of God says, yet it must be done with the right attitude !

God wants to give us the best.

It's one thing to give because you have to. It's another thing to be generous by choice. It's one thing to work for a salary at the end of the month. It's another thing to go to work so you can bless a colleague. It's one thing to stay married because it's okay. But it's quite another to stay true to your commitment and treat your spouse with respect and consideration, and help them reach a higher level.

This is what it means to be well disposed and obedient. That's right, having an abundance mentality. It is to understand that God wants to bless you so that you in turn can bless others.

My friend, when you live this way, there is no limit to what God does in your life. Decide today to be well disposed and obedient, and you will see the blessings of God overflowing in all areas of your life !

A prayer for today

Heavenly Father, I want to be well disposed and obedient. I want to honor you in everything I do. Show me how to be blessed to others as you make me prosper in all areas of my life. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
