I have a friend who, since a young age, has never accepted his female body. She hated him, hated him, and made fits for not wearing dresses or anything feminine. It was stronger than she, she was tied. This woman was so bad about herself, and her family context did not really help her, she tried after seeking help, to commit suicide. She knew the Lord, but she was a slave to a satanic lie. She still sought help, but no one was able to do it. Once an adult, inner discomfort became unbearable. After years of helping and praying, she had "tried everything". She had asked the Lord for a miracle, and apparently nothing was happening. She had arrived at a turning point : suicide, or a complete operation to finally become the person she had always wanted and thought to be : a man. On the day of the final operation, she was crying because she knew God did not want that, but she thought she had tried everything.
This person became a man, at least physically. She even married and lived with a Christian in her new condition. People, who did not know their situation, found them a perfect couple. He was a "couple" filled with love, helpful and passionate for the Lord. They proclaimed the Gospel and were a role model for many.
More than 10 years later, one day, God enlightened him. For the first time in her life, she realized that she had made a mistake and that she had accepted a lie. She was terrified of becoming that woman she had always fled. Wearing feminine clothes made her anxious. Truly, I had met few people who were as dedicated and zealous to proclaim the gospel. Although terrified of becoming the woman she had refused for more than 30 years, she was ready to return to the operating table and start all over again. She was ready to love God until he delivered his body as a sacrifice to God. His example is striking. How far are we willing to love God ?
