Doubt of your doubt !

"Truly I say to you, if anyone says to this mountain, Get out of there and throw yourself into the sea, and if he does not doubt in his heart, but believe that what he says comes he will see it fulfilled." Mark 11.23

My spiritual father often referred to Mark 11:23. I remember he said : "You can have faith in your heart while doubting in your head." The word doubt in Mark 11.23 has the meaning of diverge. Jesus said that a person whose faith is true should not diverge in his heart.

Align your words and your heart with the Word of God !

In matters of faith, it is your heart that matters ! Your head will not always understand. I happened to stand by faith for one thing, but to have my head bowed.

Your faith will bring something to fulfillment as long as your words and your heart are in accord with the Word of God. In other words, your confession, or what you say, must be in divine alignment, or in agreement, with what God says. Your head may not "pick up". Your mind moves heaven and earth to find a sensible solution. Just keep your words and your heart in accordance with the Word of God and your faith, the thing will be done.

An action for today

Your head will not always understand what God tells you to do by faith. Rather than doubt the Word of God, doubt your doubt! Say this : "I believe what God said, I doubt that my head is telling me and I am aligning myself with the Word of God !"
