Experiment the Peace of God

(Jesus says :) "I leave you peace, I give you my peace. I do not give you as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled, and be not afraid. "John 14:27

Peace ... What is peace, according to you ?

Jesus does not give as the world gives. It gives free and out of love.

Jesus is your peace. Like me, you were an enemy of God by your thoughts, actions and words, but Christ came to reconcile you with the Father. Making peace with God is an extraordinary experience. It's a release. Your sins are forgiven. You are free and at peace. What a relief, what peace ! This peace is not reserved for a single day of your life. Even today, he leaves you peace, he gives you his peace.

The Bible says, "In all things let your needs be known to God ... And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep your hearts and thoughts in Jesus Christ." Philippians 4: 6-7 Are your thoughts disturbed ? Are things moving in your head ? An internal alarm seems to have triggered and your thoughts are flying in every direction while you are looking for a solution to your problems ...

Jesus said to you this day : "Let not your heart be troubled. I am there, every day with you until the end of the world. Matthew 28:20 I have all power in heaven and on earth. "Matthew 28:18

The world does not give away for free. The world gives merit, or to receive or control in return, and keep people in dependence. As for Jesus, he does not give as the world gives. It gives free and out of love.

He gave his life to save you. He offered himself without keeping anything. You do not have to deserve his love, nor to work to receive it. He gives it to you, simply and for free. Jesus is gentle and humble of heart. He does not want to control your life, but to be your friend, your confidant, your shepherd. On this day he is ready to give you his peace, simply because he loves you.

An action for today

Take a few moments to let the peace of God invade you. You will undoubtedly need to drop him your worries and all that worries you ... Do it, quickly but sincerely. Then let your peace calm your heart.
