Feel the action of Jesus in your life

"Now in Jerusalem, near the gate of the sheep, there is a swimming pool called Hebrew Bethesda, which has five porticoes." John 5: 2

Your life, like Bethesda, has five porticoes. These are your 5 senses. Jesus manifests Himself through our senses.

Sometimes, through the view. We have a vision of him, his love, his heart, his sacrifice.

Sometimes, through our ears. His voice is heard. "My sheep hear my voice," says Jesus in John 10:27.

Sometimes, through taste or even smell. "Feel (or taste) how good the Lord is," the Bible tells us (Psalm 34: 9).

Sometimes, through touch. One feels physically the presence of the Lord. Sometimes tears come, sometimes laughter, and sometimes it is like a fire that invades us.

It is simply our body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit who reacts. At certain times, new tongues are given to us and spiritual gifts are communicated through our mouths. All this is the sign that Jesus, the Savior, the King, the living God entered his house.

Our life becomes a mercy house like Bethesda. Everything then becomes possible, because Jesus is there.

Today, as every day, Jesus wants to reveal Himself to you. He wants to show his presence, in many ways. Try to open your heart and all your senses to the manifestation of his presence. Can you hear him talking to you ? Can you see it, and visualize his work at the cross ? What's he saying ? What does he want to say through your mouth ?

A prayer for today

Lord, I long to know you more and to see, to feel, to taste, to hear and to touch your action in my life. I give you my heart and my whole life, Jesus. Be welcome to reveal yourself as you wish.
