Forgives so that you ar forgiven your turn...

"If you forgive men their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive men, your Father will not forgive you your faults either." Matthew 6: 14-15

Have you ever tried to drive your car when you did not have the keys ? You will not be able to go far without the keys, even if your car was parked right in front of your sidewalk or in your garage, is not it ?

You must leave the offenses of the past ...

When we read Matthew 6: 14-15, Jesus tells us that we can not go far in the Kingdom of God if we do not have the key element of forgiveness. He told us that the Father would not forgive our trespasses unless we forgive those who have offended us. I do not know about you, but I needed forgiveness in the past, and it is very likely that I would also need it in the future. So I want to stay in that position where I can benefit from it.

When you refuse to forgive, you cling to something that happened in the past. You must leave the offenses of the past if you want to operate successfully within the Kingdom of God !

Action for Today

You might think : "but you do not know what she did to me" or "you do not know what he did to me" or "you do not know what they did to me" ! It does not matter ! Jesus did not say : "Well, if they really did, really hurt you, then yes go and stay offended for a long time." Drop all this today. Hanging on to this wound does not affect the person who has harmed you, it affects you ! You can not operate in the Kingdom of God, where all your needs are fulfilled, if you refuse to forgive. So decide to forgive by faith today.
