"God wants all men to be saved and reach full knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2.4).

The man, who was set free, freely chose to disobey God and commit to a path of death.

God has a mission to save mankind from the consequences of poor choices made by Adam and Eve.

During the fall, God announces a plan of salvation for humanity through the posterity of Eve, the first woman, "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it t 'crush your head, and thou shalt bruise his heel "(Genesis 3:15).

This will be achieved in posterity announced the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

Long before he came to earth, his coming is remembered throughout the Bible. To Abraham God said, "All nations of the earth be blessed in your seed" (Genesis 22:18).

The prophet Isaiah said: "It is not that you be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved of Israel: I give you for a light to the nations to be my salvation to the ends of the earth (Isaiah 49.6).

The prophet Simeon recalled during the presentation of Jesus in the temple, he said: "Light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel (Luke 2.32).

The apostle Paul did the same: "For thus hath commanded us the Lord: I have set thee for a light to the nations, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth" (Acts 13.47) (Acts 26.23 ).

Thus, to save humanity, God became a missionary. Jesus fulfilled the mission of God: "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses, and he committed to us the word of reconciliation" (2 Corinthians 5:19) .

It is our responsibility, as Paul and the early Christians, to continue the mission of God in announcing the good news, being the bearers of the word of reconciliation.

As a Christian, my mission is to tell all men, "God wants to save you, and for that he has accomplished everything in the person of his son Jesus Christ."

If you are a Christian know that God wants to use you to publicize its mission of salvation to all men.

In summary, the mission is God seeking lost humanity to establish an alliance with it in love and trust.

This is to enable man to regain fellowship with his Creator and harmony with creation.

An invitation to this day:

"We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God" (2 Corinthians 5.20).
