"In Him (Christ) we have the freedom to approach God with confidence" (Ephesians 3:12).

 

One day, the Emperor mounted on his horse of battle, parading the parade when suddenly, his steed flew. This anecdote teaches us that this sub-officer believed in the words of the Emperor, which immediately earned him the title of officer.

The various authors of the Epistles in the New Testament invite us to approach God without fear : "We have by the blood of Jesus a free entrance into the sanctuary ..." (Hebrews 10:19). The apostle Peter tells us that we all have the possibility of serving in the new covenant : "Ye also, as living stones, build yourselves to form a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual, pleasing sacrifices To God through Jesus Christ ... that you may proclaim the virtues of him who called you from darkness to his marvelous light "(1 Peter 2: 9).

All Christians are free to approach God personally. There is no longer any need for intermediaries as was the case in the old alliance. There is no need of a clergy to act as an intermediary between God and each one of us. You can approach yourselves of God, the great king, the Lord of all things, freely and directly. What a privilege! The track is open, access is free. Your pass is the blood of Christ, "the visa" was printed with his blood. You will not be repressed, rejected, driven out, rejected, no ; You will be welcomed, received, heard, loved. You are free to call him Father.

Are you aware of your privilege ? Are you one of those believers who have a perception of a very austere, distant God ? Change your vision on the person God. It is true that some people suffer from a bad image of the father. Their terrestrial fathers despised them, rejected them, and mistreated them. If you have a bad image of the father, let the Lord Jesus heal your wounded hearts, he wants to rebuild in your hearts this image of the Heavenly Father, who loves you, who listens to you, who welcomes you freely.
