God does not you let fall

"And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD, and Nathan said unto him, Yea, the LORD hath passed over thy sin : thou shalt not die : but as thou hast given to the enemies of the LORD, O LORD an opportunity to despise him, the son who is born to you will die." 2 Samuel 12: 13-14

God does not let you fall, even if you are at the root of the problem.

Sin has consequences. The prophet Nathan came to David with the word of the Lord : David had sinned and his family would suffer the consequences.

Sin does not only affect the sinner !

But immediately after we read this statement : "The Lord has passed over your sin." God had already forgiven David !

Most of us - if this happens in our family - could never forgive such a sin by our own forces.

In some situations, God's supernatural love is needed to forgive.

Action for Today

If you encounter problems in your life due to your sins, mistakes or wrong choices, ask God to forgive you and put things back in order. He has not finished with you ! If a loved one has harmed you, let the supernatural love of God act in your heart ; Forgive, and God will heal your family.
