Have you asked God ?

"Always ask God what you need." Philippians 4.6

Imagine entering a restaurant and asking if your meal is ready. You have not ordered anything and you simply think that there may be something in your name. It is as ridiculous as hoping that God answers prayers you have not made, at least not with faith.

"God wants to be good to you, so trust him what your heart desires."

The Bible says : "You do not have, because you do not ask." James 4.2 No, God will not give you all that you ask.

"You do not receive, because you ask badly, in order to spend everything for your passions." James 4.3 Your requests must be in harmony with the will of God.

"If we ask for something according to his will, he will listen to us." 1 John 5:14

Jeremiah said : "The Lord is good to those who hope in him." Lamentations of Jeremiah 3.25 A prayer full of hope shows confidence in the goodness of God. Rather than bothering you, talking about it to everyone except God, or trying to get by yourself, say : "Lord, I will trust you whatever the outcome," and God will honor your faith.

Paul writes : "Always ask God what you need, and when you pray, make your requests with a grateful heart." Phillipians 4.6

Looking for a job ? Help to overcome a problem ? Salvation for a loved one ? A richer spiritual walk ? The healing of the body or the heart ? A guide ? Jesus said : "Your Father has found it good to give you the kingdom." Luke 12.32

An action for today

God wants to be good with you, so trust him what your heart desires. Then thank him and believe that his answer will come in due time !
