I am with you !

Isaiah 41.10 Do not be afraid, for I am with you ; do not cast anxious glances, for I am your God ; I strengthen you, I come to your aid, I support you with my triumphant right hand.

How encouraging this verse is for us. It shows that we are a bit stupid, even though it is part of our human nature, when we worry. Why shouldn't we fear, why shouldn't we have worried looks ? Because God the Almighty is with us ! Paul's words echo in our hearts : “If God is for us, who will be against us ?” (Romans 8:31).

I don't know what your situation is today, if you have good reason to worry, if you feel weak to the point of collapsing but let me encourage you by saying that your God, the One who is Creator of the universe, is All Enough to come to your rescue ! Not only does He want to communicate His strength to us, but He is able to support us and keep us upright. Let's understand that He supports the whole universe with His Word (see Hebrews 1:3), so I think it is not too difficult for Him to support us.

My beloveds, fear is unfortunately part of our human condition. That stillness that we cannot find in ourselves or even in this humanity, we can find by looking up to our wonderful Savior. Nothing is too difficult for Him, nothing is too big, nothing is too complicated...

Today let us raise our heads with this powerful assurance : “I, your God, am with you !".
