Repent and believe

Jesus went to Galilee, preaching the gospel of God. He said : The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe the good news. Mark 1: 14-15

They say prevention is cure! This is true in medicine and in many other fields... At all times, Jesus Christ warns men : Repent, and believe in the good news. The good news is that, thanks to Christ's sacrifice on the cross, the door of God's forgiveness is open. Whoever recognizes his faults and his need for salvation can enter.

Doesn't a man give proof of love by warning his friend of a danger that threatens him ? Certainly, it is good for a man to repent and believe in the love of Christ. You who read this text and who know that you are not at peace with God, these words of Jesus call you as a friend. No matter what man you are, the moment you come to him, young or old, you will always find God ready to receive you, forgive you and welcome you into his home...

The man who is to be pitied is the man who does not repent. Maybe you are afraid to do it ? You find yourself so bad and unworthy that you think Christ won't want you. But cast out this fear and never be afraid to repent. Believe that he is kindness and forgiveness itself...
