Jesus does not bypass you

When I consider my life, I am grateful to my God. Who would I be without Him ? His hand has always been present the day I accepted to plunge body and soul into his will, until today. No one saw in me a pastor, not even me! What about my writing ? At the Bible school, when I handed a homework, my professors stopped counting spelling mistakes after only four pages. It was on average twenty faults per leaf. At that time, you would have said : "What is a C.O.D. ?" Well, I thought it was a virus that wanted to attack my sentence.

If anyone deserves glory, it is indeed our God ! Yet today I write thoughts of the day on the Top Chrétien, read by tens of thousands of people! My first book : "The Best is Before You" became a bestseller in the French-speaking Christian world. I just launched my second book "Seize Life" which is already a blessing for many people. If anyone deserves glory, it is indeed our God ! I am so aware of his grace.

With his active hand, I am the pastor of a marvelous assembly : the Church of Bordeaux on the right bank. On our last three baptismal services, in the space of a good year, we had the privilege of making one hundred and six baptisms. What a blessing ! Yes, I am amazed at the action of God.

Great people move to join our assembly and fulfill their call. When I speak with them, they entrust me : "The Lord has called us to come to Bordeaux, to your church." And I can not help thinking, "They're crazy, what a risk !" I do not even know them. Then I see the Lord acting in their lives. As they leave their boat, even if it is not always obvious, the hand of God is there.

When I consider who I am, what became the Church of the Right Bank of Bordeaux, who are the Christians who compose it, I am then moved to see the action of God. We are mere people wishing to extend our limits, believing that we are born for a better destiny and, day after day, we are experiencing the power of God. Hallelujah !

A prayer of gratitude for today

Lord I want to say thank you for your hand on my life. You lead me to a destiny that surpasses me, glory to your Name, amen.
