Keep growing with a child's heart

"Jesus said : Leave the little children, and do not prevent them from coming to me, for the kingdom of heaven is for their likeness." Matthew 19:14

It is interesting to see that a child always wants to learn. The famous reasons, of which he never ceases to water us, are the most illustrative illustration of it. Then the child becomes a young adult and there he knows ... He no longer needs to learn. In any case, he believes it! The major difference between an adult and a child is that the child is thirsty to grow, to evolve, to change while the adult believes he / she knows everything and refuses all evolution because he knows ... He is not plus a child. And ... This creates, unfortunately, "young-old" !

Paul was not afraid of being confronted spiritually and intellectually in order to change.

The Ministry of Health has published an interesting static : many people, when they retire, see their health worsen and nasal. This comes from the fact that as soon as they leave the active world, not only their activity ceases but also they are no longer forced to adapt to the evolution of their company. They have therefore no more effort to provide, are frozen in their habits and it is decline.

In his final epistle, Paul, despite his old age and imprisonment, wishes to evolve : "When you come, bring the cloak that I left at Troas to Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments" (2 Timothy 4:13). In addition to his coat to warm himself, Paul asks for books. In other words, he wants to grow in knowledge. The apostle has already written a good part of the New Testament ; he has shown that he knew a ray of doctrine, and yet he persevered in the learning of knowledge to the end. The great Paul was not afraid to be confronted spiritually and intellectually in order to change, to evolve.

The difference between a big bonnet and a little cap is that the big bonnet is a little cap that has been continued to knit. To grow, you have to stay in motion.

A prayer for today

Lord, teach me to keep my child's heart so that I may grow.
