Learn to discern the voice of God

"God speaks sometimes one way and another another ..." Job 33.14

The word was with God and the word was God. God and his word are one, indivisible.

The Bible is a mirror !

God speaks to you through the spoken word, the written word, the inner voice of the Holy Spirit, dreams and visions, certain circumstances and events of your life ... Every day, God speaks to you. But are you listening to God ? Did you learn to discern his voice ?

The Bible symbolizes the written voice of God! As soon as you open your Bible, you find yourself face to face with the written voice of God. When you turn on your radio, you hear the voice of the facilitator or the reporter. Similarly, when you open your Bible you should normally hear God speak to you. If you do not hear his voice, you are looking for another voice. God speaks ... but you do not care.

The Bible is a mirror : every day, your mirror "speaks" to you as soon as you look at it. It tells you what's wrong with your face, your hair, and so on. You hear the voice of the mirror speak to you and you pay attention. You clean your face, you put your hair in order. Likewise, the Bible returns the reflection of your heart. God speak to you ... listen to him ... obey his voice ... and then you will be happy in all your activities.

A prayer for today

Lord, teach me to discern your voice through the Holy Scriptures. From now on, I will be careful what I mean by the spoken word and the inner voice of the Holy Spirit.
