"Lord, you keep him in peace, for he trusts you." Isaiah 26.3
Who do you trust to solve your problems ? To God or to yourself ?
Before you answer, read thi s: "You, Lord, keep him in peace, for he trusts you. [...] Lord, you point out to the faithful a way that goes straight ; the way that you trace to him is without any detour." Isaiah 26.3 / 7
What a beautiful promise ! If you want to keep the spirit in peace, adopt this principle : "Do your best, and entrust the rest to God !"
We are a few to have learned that it was wrong to rejoice when the difficulties arise. We were conditioned to think that, in desperation, it was appropriate at least to worry and be unhappy.
Do your best and entrust the rest to God.
Paul says this : "Do not let your adversaries frighten at anything ; it will be a sign to them that they are at their loss and that you are on the way to salvation ; and it comes from God." Philippians 1.28
Satan does not know what to do when he can not get you out of you. You deprive him of a powerful weapon. By trusting God completely, you will no longer depend on circumstances or on your own limits.
A radio broadcaster once said with malice : "By the time that is running, it is good to know that such times have always run !"
The question is not : "Will the crisis come ?" It is : "How will you manage it ?" The Bible says : "For us who have believed, we enter into rest." Hebrews 4: 3
Action for Today
When things go wrong, do not follow their example. Follow the way God points out to you, lean on His Word, then trust Him fully and let Him act for you.
