Organize your days for the Kingdom

"And I do this because of the gospel in order to share in its blessings" (1 Corinthians 9:23).

If we let the world get into our lives, it will take everything and make us unproductive to the Kingdom. We will be so busy that we will no longer have time for the Lord. We will not have time to pray, to meditate, so we will do these things by doing two things at once, or we will do them once or twice a week... or by month.

Not being passionate about the Kingdom will make us commitments that will take time that could have been invested in the Kingdom. With my wonderful wife, we organize our days according to the Kingdom. It is rare that we do not do anything for the Kingdom after returning from the office. We balance our life between the family, our couple, the ministry, and we put the Lord in the middle of all these things. Since we are both passionate, it is true that it makes this consecration much easier, but we must remain vigilant and not be enveloped by the world. It's so easy to start watching a TV show, then watch it one night, two nights, three nights, and finally every day of the year or so ! What a waste of time for the Kingdom !

In the evening, after doing the homework with our daughter (yes we made the choice to have only one child because of the Kingdom of God, a choice that is completely personal), everyone goes about their activities, we go from time with her, then we eat together (I often miss that moment to pray), and after lining her up and spending a few spiritual minutes with her, we consecrate ourselves to the Word. This often happens so. Sunday evening, we order sushi from time to time and we spend the evening... in love. It's a precious and important moment !

To be passionate about the Kingdom of God does not mean that we have to leave the family or the couple.
