"Physician, heal thyself ..." Luke 4.23

Maybe are you able to laugh around you, and yet be deeply depressed.

You know the way to bring the joy around you, but you can not be happy.

It may be that you are a tormented soul, who sustained multiple injuries in your soul.

Maybe you had a disturbed childhood, have you suffered violence.

Maybe you've experienced abandonment, rejection, contempt ...

We could make a long list of injuries and shock it is possible to live, but this dramatic experience does not make you a qualified person to help others.

Before you can help others, it is critical that you live your own inner healing.

This biblical adage challenges us, and brings us back to duty heal our wounds before seeking a solution to the problems of others.

It's like those marriage counselors who are all sorts of conflicts in their own family, and want to help couples suffering.

They are not only implausible, but we can question the value of their advice.

Jesus asked this question: "Can a blind lead the blind Will they not both fall into a pit?" Luke 6.39.

A flayed person does not make her an expert person in inner healing.

Before deciding to help others, it is essential to test oneself inner healing.

Do not try to sublimate your unhealed wounds, claiming that they are useful to help those who are injured.

This attitude prevents you from living your own healing wounds. Sublimate injuries, not be cured.

But what God wants is you to heal your inner wounds. Certainly, it is very noble to think about helping others, it denotes a charitable attitude, and it's a great thing, but it should not be that this behavior blocks any inner healing in your own life.

At the apostle Peter will deny him, Jesus said, "When thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren" Luke 22.32.

In other words, it is as if Jesus said to Peter: "Before you can help others, it is necessary that you yourself vivid miracle of change.

When you, Peter, you have experienced the healing of your denial, then you can help others. "

A tip for today

Are you injured (e)? Do not try to sublimate your wounds by becoming a (an) expert (s) in inner wounds. God wants to heal their inner wounds everyone you hang out with, he can use you for this, but he wants you to be cured prior to (e) of yourself, of your own wounds.
