"I am crucified with Christ ; and I no longer live, I, but Christ lives in me. " Galatians 2. 20

The Epistle to the Galatians is a letter written by the Apostle Paul to correct thoughts and practices that do not conform to the Gospel. We must pay great attention.
Of people opposed to the gospel or have not understood his message, teach that the return to the law of Moses is the only way to please God and be completely saved. The danger then is to recover under slavery when it comes to experience freedom in Christ. The observation of the Act gives neither salvation nor freedom because we are "justified on the basis of faith in Christ and not the works of the law" (Gal. 2. 16). Our blessing comes from grace alone. Paul proposes three principles to live free and happy :
- "My children, you for whom I suffer again the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you" (Gal 4. 19). Paul is filled with such love for his children in the faith, as he endures the pain of childbirth for Christ again become the source of their life, for the rule of life of the believer is Christ, not the law.
- "I am crucified with Christ and I no longer live myself, but Christ lives in me" (Gal 2. 20.). Paul confirms that Christianity is not preaching a set of dogmas, but the presence of a person in his own life. This person became intimate after personal experience, often painful ; this is a love relationship. He does not say here that Christ loved us, but "the Son of God loved me and gave himself for me." It is a personal relationship.
- "When it pleased God ... to reveal his Son in me" (Gal 1. 15). Paul talking about the purpose of his ministry : to proclaim Jesus Christ and show it in his life. He says he has pleased God to reveal his Son, not by him but by him. Paul gives way to Christ that becomes part and visible to her new life. To be released Christians, we must enter by faith these three key thoughts :
- Christ is the source of our life,
- Christ is the engine of our lives,
- Christ is seen in us. Then it will be glorified !
