"Why have you beaten ?" Jeremiah 14. 19

The physical and moral suffering has brought forth from the mouths of these men these painful "why" and many others. Some questions clearly show that their author was not aware of the revelation that we now have. For example, since Jesus was sacrificed for our sins to be forgiven, we can not say to God, even in great pain, "Why do not you forgive my transgression ?"
It's true that the mysterious ways of God have always raised a lot of "why" we have the answer one day, when we shall know as we are known (1 Cor. 13. 12). We will take what God knew us deeply.
If we are unable today to grasp God's plan for our lives, we bow before Him in submission, because "we know that all things work together for good to them that love God" (Rom. 8. 28 ).
But the most painful "why" sounded one day at Golgotha, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me ?" (Matthew 27. 46.). Whoever carried this cry of distress was nevertheless the Son of God ! Why, yes, why has he abandoned Him whose life was only purity, love and dedication ? It's that he wore in his body on the cross, "like a heavy burden" (Ps. 37. 8), the sins of all who would be purified. He suffered, through the judgment before God.
As believers for whom Jesus gave himself, are aware that we are the answer to the most painful of "why" : that of Golgotha
