Position yourself in full light

"I am the light of the world, the one who follows me will not walk in darkness, but he will have the light of life." John 8.12

As the sun has risen today, I believe that we need another light to come on our life too : that of the Lord Jesus !

He said : We need the light of God to shine on the dark places of our life.

On our tests, on the disease, on our failures, our mistakes and our gray areas.

Let the light of Christ enter every room of your life, even the darkest.

We need the light of Christ to rise even where we do not want it to go. It must be able to penetrate these places that we keep secret ... often by fear. A bit like Adam who said : "I was afraid and hid." Genesis 3.10

Let the light of Christ enter every room of your life, even the darkest. Do not be afraid. This light is beneficial. If it reveals some impurities or dirt, it's because God wants to clean your heart and your thoughts. He wants to purify you.

Maybe his light will bring out a resentment, jealousy or a desire for revenge ? Just ask the Lord for forgiveness and ask him to free you.

Yes, if you follow Jesus, you will not walk in darkness but you will have the light of life. And his light is good for our lives.

An action for today

Do you feel that the light of Jesus wants to highlight a feeling, something that bothers you ? Approach God and give him that shadow so that he can treat it deeply. His beneficent light casts out the darkness of our hearts.
