Remember and take care

"What man, that you remember him, and the son of man, that you take care of him ?" (Psalms 8:5)

Do you think that the father of the prodigal son had forgotten him when he was spending all his money, or when he found himself without money, to work to survive ? Of course not. That's why when the son came back, it was the father who saw him first. The son, for his part, forgot his father until he found himself in a terrible situation. And even then, he thought rather of his father's property rather than of himself... The father remembered his son, and as soon as he returned he took the utmost care.

There are people we have forgotten. It may be a cousin we have not seen since the burial of an uncle, a co-worker or a former classmate. Are they saved ? How are they doing ?

Should we ask such questions ? I believe that the more we have a broad heart, the more we can experience the miracle of the heart of God. This miracle is when God shares his heart concerning the situation of a person. We pray for her, even though we have not seen her for 20 years, and we believe that our prayers will make a difference. And sometimes God creates a miracle. This reminds me of the 2 people who were the most recalcitrant when Annabelle met me. She told them about her meeting with me and my faith, and these two women practiced clairvoyance. Several years later, the first one was saved through us, and we learned that the second one was saved too. What a great miracle !

I sometimes think back to some friends I had. One of them wrote to me several years ago that he never wanted to hear from me again, telling me that I had become "completely a barjo of religion". Well since then, I pray for him sometimes.
