Sin and the sinner

He who did not know sin, he made it to be sin for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Let us not confuse sin with the sinner. Indeed, the acquittal of God is offered to sinners but not to their works ! For one whose God remains distant and unrecognized, this is a paradox. But everything becomes clear for the one who approaches... Indeed, God cannot have mercy for the sin but he can have it for the sinner ! There is no compromise possible for faults, for the work of evil is always evil. To imagine the opposite is to ignore the incorruptibility of God and to insult all those who have suffered because of evil. Can light mix with darkness ? No, she necessarily pushes it away! In his probity, God irreparably condemns sin. But in his love, God can and wants to wash away the sinner !

Here is his offer : the sin of men was loaded on the shoulders of Christ and punished through him on the cross so that whoever confesses his sin could be forgiven... Jesus took our place of guilty on the cross and s' is given as a ransom for us. By paying our debt to God, he makes us righteous. God made him to become sin for us so that in him we would become the righteousness of God. Whoever recognizes his fault, who asks forgiveness and believes in Christ as his Savior is acquitted !
