The freedom is there, it enough just of the seize !

"If ye abide in my word, ye are truly my disciples : ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." John 8: 31-32

This verse declares that we are free in Christ.

We were freed from the need to please people ...

If you meditate this thought for a while, you will realize that you are not only released from something. You are also free for something.

In Christ, we are freed from the feelings of hatred, rejection and doubt that we nurture against ourselves. There are so many people in the world who do not love each other !

But it is a choice that the Bible does not really give us. She tells us that God has formed us in the womb of our mother, that he has fashioned us with his own hands - and that all he does is good. If you want your life to be in accord with the Word, then you must make the decision to love yourself.

It is important to note that God created us to be pleasing to Him. This means that we have been freed from the need to please people. This does not mean that we do not want to be good to others, but that God has freed us from the fear of man - the tyranny of rejection, criticism, judgment and misunderstanding.

When a child is mistreated by his schoolmates, he rushes to his parents, who immediately reassures him : "Do not worry, we love you, for us you are wonderful. think does not matter. " The child then feels much better.

Similarly, when we are wounded, we have the freedom to run to God and entrust to him what we feel. He will not fail to say to us : "I love you and for me, you are a wonderful person. No matter what others say, I believe in you." I do not know what it is about you, but for my part, every time God speaks to me, I feel reassured.

In Christ, we are free to move forward. And how important is it if we make a mistake ? God is not concerned with our earthly successes ; what interests him is our heart. He wants to see if we are ready to stand up and do what we think is right.

In Christ, you are free to enjoy life ... to enjoy God ... to enjoy yourself. God takes pleasure in you. It has a wonderful plan for your life, and you are free to accomplish it !

An Encouragement for Today

Enjoy all the freedoms that are yours in Christ. Stand with your head held high, without being controlled or manipulated by others. Get out of the crowd, because you're not just anyone - you're a child of God.
