The love of God for you has no equal

"There is no greater love than to give one's life ..." John 15.13

If you were asked what is the greatest power in the universe, what would you answer ?

Some, thinking of the Earth, would answer, perhaps the United States or China ... Others would say that the greatest power of the universe is the sun, this immense source of heat and light. Others might answer that love is the greatest force in the universe ... And it's true !

The love that God has for you is powerful, without rival and without equal.

God has understood it forever. If love is the greatest power in the world, it is because God himself has one day put this power in motion.

Yes, on a particular day, the whole force of the universe has been revealed through an act that no other man has ever accomplished here : the boundless gift of his innocent life for the salvation of all men. What innocent man would accept to die unjustly, to erase the sins of the whole world, and of all past, present, and future times ?

Yet this is what Jesus, the only son of God, did.

Touched by such a sacrifice, the Apostle Paul once said : "I am not ashamed of the gospel [of Christ] : it is the power of God for the salvation of every man who believes." Romans 1.16

This act that Jesus accomplished may seem crazy to some ... But it is the manifestation of a love without rival and unequaled. From a love to unlimited power. Of a manifested love ... for you personally.

Yes, the love that God has for you is powerful, without rival and unequaled. He literally gave his life for you.

Is there greater love than God's, accepting to die for his creation ?
