"Yes, we have contemplated His glorious splendor, a splendor which only the only begotten Son His Father could possess." John 1.14
Have you heard this morning the birds singing at daybreak ? It is their creator who encourages them.
Have you seen the sun come out of bed ? It is God who guides his course in heaven.
Have you seen the wind blowing in the leaves of the trees ? It is the author of life who is at the origin of it.
In our hectic life, it is good that we know how to stop to marvel over and over again.
In the flood of your daily activities, I invite you to stop for a moment, look up at the sky and reflect on the majesty of the habitation of God. Then look around and observe how the earth resonates with its perfection, as nature echoes its beauty and sensitivity.
One day, the psalmist also put that look, and here is the praise that sprang from his mouth ... "God comes from Teman, the true God comes from the mountains of Paran. His splendor illuminates the sky and the earth is full of his praise, he comes, bursting with light, shining rays gush forth from his hand, where his power is hidden." (Habakkuk 3.3-4)
In our hectic life, it is good that we know how to stop to marvel over and over again.
Even about the smallest things, the bird that sings, the breeze on our faces, the child who smiles, ... Life is softer when we know how to marvel at it.
You see, God is everywhere, for anyone who wants to see Him. We must voluntarily open the eyes of faith to see it, for it is there, and from all eternity. God hides, and reveals Himself at once. It is, as Victor Hugo said : "the invisible evident". It is "behind everything, but all the cache."
Never cease to see Him everywhere, as in every detail of your life: God takes pleasure in reflecting on it.
A challenge for you today
Intentionally stop your activities on this day and take time to observe the world around you. Inhale ... exhale ... thank God for the breath of life, praise it in all its splendor and leave !
