The Thought of the Day of 04/11/2016 : The crisis, an opportunity in the heart of danger - By Patrice Martorano

"Blessed, yes, happy is the man who trusts in God" Psalm 40.5

In the midst of a crisis, those with the right beliefs remain confident, yet it is not always easy to remain calm in these situations. Their confidence in God is greater than the adversity endured. In China, the word crisis does not exist. The terms used to describe it are : "Opportunity in danger." For the Chinese, every crisis brings opportunities, projections in the future. When we Westerners, we panic, plan them. When we get tired, they are excited by new challenges.
Their confidence in God is greater than the adversity endured.

I remember the comment of my teacher in counseling, the pastor Denis
Morissette : "There is no change without a crisis." It is reality. For most, behind the word "crisis" is hiding a warning. If someone is in crisis, it means that deviates from God's purposes, it does not fulfill the divine will. In fact, every crisis is actually followed by a change, the evolution is positive or negative.

Marriage, birth of a child, moving, promotion, etc. are stressors but beyond all, they are wonderful opportunities to embrace life. Do not run away before the changes and challenges that lie to you ; instead, you tackle them with confidence because they will bring the necessary experience to your learning through which you gain more knowledge, maturity, wisdom ...

Do not be afraid, all these aspects in painful and difficult prior are actually
opportunities to enjoy life with a large "V".

A Prayer for Today

Lord, I will not be afraid of change and challenges because I know you're always
near me, amen.
