Seizing life is easy to say, especially when everything is going well ! But when we are struggling with critical events, such as divorce, loss of a loved one, bankruptcy of our company or a disease that takes away the ability to project us into the future, then everything becomes very complicated . Yet, the Lord wants to help you restart in life, to revive your enthusiasm, to revive your hope.

My first daughter was born three months in advance, she was a great premature. During the first six months of her life, Roselyne and I put all our strength into this ordeal. Early in the morning, we went to the University Hospital of Saint-Étienne, which was more than thirty minutes away from home, to bathe our little girl, and then I went to work in the Lyons region Hour drive). Meanwhile, my wife stayed all day in the hospital. When in the evening I finished my work, about twenty o'clock, I returned for a moment with my daughter and my wife before returning home late. Next day : same fight ! Obviously, at that time with Roselyne, the notion of writing a book, being a pastor of the Church of Bordeaux Rive Droite, making videos, going to the other end of the world, doing seminars, etc. . Was totally irrelevant. We just wanted to win victory over our ordeal, see our little girl come out of a situation where she was between life and death.

By His grace we came out of this ordeal. Eventually we experienced adventures on adventures. Not always simple, but the Lord is faithful.

Do you believe that God can help you in your difficulty ? Let Jesus have the opportunity to write a new page in the history of your life. You can not imagine what he can do ! He is the God of the resurrection, he turns the darkness into light. A word from him and everything can be transformed.

A prayer for today

Lord, today I wish to fight the good fight of faith and seize the life to which you have called me, amen.
