"Have faith in God" Mark 11:22

 

The choices you make in life will be conditioned by your beliefs. If you think your crisis is greater than God, then you will make detrimental decisions. Indeed, if your couple experiences tension, then divorce will present itself as the right solution. If your company finds itself in distress then you will be tempted by filing for bankruptcy. If you are a pastor going through a barren and deserted time, you'll want to give up. Nevertheless, if your trust in God is greater than your ordeal, then the consequences will be totally different. You will thus become aware that the Lord can restore your couple, straighten your society, refresh your soul.
Your inner certainty will determine your behavior, your attitude.

David demonstrated a confidence and firm assurance in God inconceivable. Anyone who suffers his life capitulates : "Goliath is too big for me". On the contrary, those who dominate it exclaim : "Goliath is too great for me to miss, if God is with me, who will be against me ?" Your inner certainty will determine your behavior, your attitude. You will either go up or down.

A few years ago, I lived with my family in an old house with floor. Regularly, at night, I heard mysterious noises in my living room: cracking, displacement ... Then I remembered a testimony of a haunted house. Then the idea gradually insinuated itself into me, and my thought became a belief. So, in the middle of the night, I found myself in the middle of my living room chasing away all the spirits that could be found there. Nothing happened, the sounds persisted ...

One day, my wife coming back from the races gave me a mouse pad and said, "Try it !" Bingo ! The demon I hunted every night was only a small gray mouse three centimeters.

Looking back, I find this surreal scene : I, with my eighty pounds hunting an imaginary demon in the darkness of a room, and a little mouse crouched in a corner, totally stressed by a man who was just as much ... Do you realize the power of a belief that infiltrates the mind ? It engenders an attitude.

A prayer for today

Lord, I place my faith in you and not in the crisis that I am going through, amen.
