You probably know this proverb : "There is a beginning to everything." But do you know this expression, which is attributed to Pythagoras : "The beginning is half of everything" ? That is, once you have started something, you have already accomplished half the way up to completion.
Once you have started something, you have already accomplished half the way up to completion.

God also began a work in your life, as he started one in mine. That's something I'm very grateful for. It's a beginning! I am convinced.

"I am persuaded," it means that I have faith in him. I believe with all my heart that this work is good. What he started in you and me is good, and even very good. When God created the world, he saw that it was good. Genesis 1.31

When he made you a new creation, he saw that it was good and even very good.

He will make his work perfect for the day of Christ. Do not worry if you are not perfect yet. Rest assured, I am far from perfect. I have a lot of flaws. Ask my wife, my children, my collaborators, ...

I even have a list of all my weaknesses and if I showed it to you, you might not want to read me anymore. But the Holy Spirit works in my life day after day to make me look like Jesus. And it will work in yours too, if you allow it !

A prayer for today

Lord, I thank you for the work you are doing in my life. What you started to do is not finished ! When I am in heaven, in the day of Christ, then I will be perfect ! Until then, I want to continue to trust you and let you finish your work in me.
