"When these signs are fulfilled for you, act according to what you will find to do, for God is with you!" 1 Samuel 10.7

 

Do you tend to want to anticipate the timing of the Lord ? To rush a call, a direction by ignoring the time of God ? This happened to me several times. One day, for fear of missing an opportunity, I rushed to communicate a project to the church. The result was not convincing, yet the thought was of God but, wanting to go too fast, I missed the coach.
Do not rush, do not hinder God's plan by forcing things.

When Samuel anointed Saul to become king of Israel, he asked him to go home and wait for the signs to be made. What action had Saul to accomplish in the meantime ? Just do his usual job. It was not for him, but for the Lord to put him on the front of the stage. Then the moment chosen by God came. The people of Israel were attacked, messengers were sent to Gibeah, the city of Saul, to explain to the people what was going on. All began to lament and weep. At that moment : "Saul returned from the fields behind his oxen." 1 Samuel 11: 5.

Do you see ? While waiting for the signs to come to an end for Saul's enthronement, Saul continued to work in the field behind his oxen ... Yet he had been anointed and had been appointed before all the people as King of Israel , However, he continued to act according to what he found to do. Saul respected the timing of God.

My beloved, today I encourage you to wait for the signs to come true. Do not rush, do not hinder God's plan by forcing things. All that God does is perfect in his time, for what he begins he accomplishes perfectly. Keep working in your field, behind your oxen. Be mindful of the signs, because if you do not have to rush, you must not miss the opportunity to seize your call. So, wait and as soon as God says "Action", go ...

A prayer for today

Lord, allow me to know and recognize the signs from you so that I may fully enter into my call, amen.
