Those who do evil

The following passage tells us about teachers of lies, but he also speaks to us of all "those who do evil" and who live "in the manner of the man delivered to himself", that is to say, unbelievers. We must realize how much the inconverti is sinful. We must understand how he is God's enemy and on the way to hell. And then we must cry about his salvation. If we refuse to accept what the word of God so clearly expresses about the lost, our gospel will be without power because without knowledge. We do not want to be ignorant about it.

"Thus the Lord knows how to deliver those who are attached to him from trial, and to reserve those who do evil for the day of judgment where they will be punished. He will especially punish those who, in the manner of self-surrendered man, surrender themselves to their corrupt instincts and despise the authority of the Lord.

Imbued with themselves and arrogant, these teachers of lies do not hesitate to insult glorified beings, while the angels themselves, who are nevertheless much superior to them in strength and power, do not carry an offensive accusation. against these beings before the Lord. But these men act like animals without reason who follow only their instincts and are just good at being captured and killed, because they spread insults against what they do not know. So they will perish like animals. The harm they have done to them will be paid back.

These men find it their pleasure to engage in debauchery in broad daylight. They dirty and dishonor by their presence the parties in which they participate with you taking a malicious pleasure to deceive you. They have the look of adultery and an insatiable need to sin, they trap the unstable people, they have nothing to learn about the love of money : they are under the divine curse. They abandoned the right path and went astray while walking in the footsteps of Balaam, son of Beor, who loved the ill-gotten money" (2 Peter 2: 9-15).
