To discharge
Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
Tired and loaded ! Who isn't today ? Stress affects everyone in many areas.
A supermarket manager told me how he has become the victim of his bosses - if not shareholders - who demand "numbers at all costs". Quite meaningful play on words !
First, too heavy a load ; then fatigue quickly turned into a depressive charge. Can we get out of this vicious circle ?
We should be able to unload. This is the remedy offered by the gospel message. Did not the apostle Peter write : Cast all your worries on him (God), for he himself takes care of you ?
Thus, it is possible by an ever renewed trust, nourished by the certainty that the Lord takes charge of us, that He takes charge of us.
Still, of course, we have to go to him by surrendering himself, by agreeing to rest on his promises. The God who invented work also wanted rest. But if we want to win the whole world, let's not be surprised to be tired ; what's more, maybe losing our soul. What will it do for a man to gain the whole world if he loses his soul ? (Matthew 16:26)
On the contrary, in order to “release our fever”, let's declutter our life, rather let go of the superfluous.

Proposed reading : 1st letter of Peter, chapter 5, verses 5 to 7.
5.5 Likewise, you who are young, submit yourselves to the elders. And submitting yourselves all to one another, clothe yourselves with humility, for God opposes the proud, but he gives grace to the humble.
5.6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
5.7 Cast all your worries on him, for he takes care of you.
