To scare Satan

Every child of God today is covered by the blood of Jesus. All of us are out of reach of the powers of hell, wizards, spells, curses, demons and all the servants of the devil. Principalities and dominions in heavenly places can not reach us, as long as we place ourselves under the banner of the precious blood of the Savior, our Lamb Pascal. This protection is inviolable and unfathomable.

"You, the saints filled with fear, take courage !". The man who fears is the ally of the enemy, whether he likes it or not. Fear is an infection, an illness. It can spread among Christians. I am sure that God forbade the children of Israel to speak as they walked around the walls of Jericho because they would have left doubt and fear spread among them. The devil does not fear the man who fears. He knows that this person is harmless ; but it trembles when we are not afraid.

Nehemiah restored Jerusalem. Some begged him to hide because of threats from his enemies. I like his reply : "A man like me, run away ! and what man like me could enter the temple and live ?" (Nehemiah 6:11)

Are the people of God, the sons and daughters of the kingdom redeemed by blood, these people that we are to give ground to violence and threats ? The people of God did not receive a Spirit of fear, but a Spirit of strength, love, and wisdom (2 Timothy 1:7). Should people like us flee ?
