What value do you give yourself ?

"It was not by means of perishable things, like silver or gold ; No, you have been delivered from the precious blood of Christ, sacrificed like a lamb without blemish and without spot." 1 Peter 1.18-19

Are you truly invaluable ? Why do you say that question ? It might seem obvious to most of us, that our lives, the salvation of our souls have no price. And yet, see what the Bible says ...

When he looks at you, he does not see you through the fault you do not like in you.

How much could you have put on the table for this redemption ? 1 million ? 10 millions ? 100 million ? All the gold in the world would not be enough to redeem your soul or snatch your life from hell. Only the blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of the Son of God, could do it.

He who is perfect has sinned. He bore your iniquity and the weight of all your sorrows. Your value can not be evaluated based on terrestrial criteria. The only "currency of exchange" at the height of your life is the blood of Jesus.

God, is an extraordinary artist who realizes masterpieces, unique pieces of life. You are one of his works.

"Bring back those who bear my name, all those whom I have created, whom I have fashioned, whom I have made to manifest my glory" (Isaiah 43: 7).

God carefully chose the characteristics that are yours today, from the color of your eyes to your personality.

Many people have their "small complexes" whether they are physical or linked to a trait of their personality. Know that God loves you as you are.

When he looks at you, he does not see you through the fault you do not like in you. He sees you through the blood of Christ, his holiness, his grace and his love.

An encouragement for today

Whatever may be grieving in you, choose to believe that you have immense value in the eyes of God, who can not find a rival in this world ...

You are a unique piece, a dear masterpiece at the heart of your Heavenly Father.
