Where do our problems come from ?

"The thief comes only to steal, to kill and to destroy. I have come that men may have life, an abundant life." John 10.10

Our problems come essentially from three sources :

- the influence of the one whom the Bible calls the father of lies, Satan

- our bad decisions or those of others

- our presence in an imperfect, fallen world

Satan hates you and will use any person or situation to harm you.

The first reason for our troubles is that the enemy continues to exert influence on this land. Satan seeks to destroy us, or at least to disconcert us from our task and prevent us from bearing fruit for God.

When believers encounter difficulties, they often think that they are beside the will of God. This is usually not the case. You may encounter significant obstacles even as you are at the heart of God's plan. Satan can raise the pressure even when you walk in God's ways.

Satan hates you and will use any person or situation to harm you. But here is the good news : by rising from the dead, Jesus defeated the enemy. He has publicly given him a spectacle by triumphing over him ! When Jesus is risen, you are also risen ! When Jesus triumphed, you also triumphed !

Action for Today

Whatever problems you face today, stand up and proclaim your victory !
