Who arrested you ?

Galatians 5.7 - You were running so well, who stopped you ?

Many of us started the race with great enthusiasm and a burning fire in our hearts. And yet, as the days, months, years went by, our hearts grew cold and we stopped. Who arrested you ?

Some allowed themselves to be stopped by legitimate things, like a good job with responsibilities, a good salary, a marriage, etc., but gradually it all took the place of God. Others sat down, weary of all the opposition they encountered, family, friends etc. For others, they preferred to turn away and return to this world, seduced by its lusts. Finally, others fell, sinned and stopped because they no longer dared to get up and look up to God.

Anyway and no matter how and why we stopped the race, we are at a "dead end" and you reading these lines maybe you recognize yourself in them. Also, I have something to say to you : "Now is the day for you to get up, it is not too late. No ! It is not yet too late. In John 6:37 we are told that Jesus will not reject anyone who comes to Him. We are also told in 1 John 1: 9 : If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us them, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So what are you waiting for ?".

Today the Lord is giving you another chance to run and win the prize, so get up and run my friend.
