Who is the big boss ?

"As the heavens are lifted up above the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts above your thoughts." Isaiah 55.9

When everything is going well in your life and things are going well, according to your plans, it is so easy to forget the benevolent and sovereign presence of God. And yet he is there. Express your gratitude to him.

Do not try to understand everything that's going on. Just trust God ...

When, on the contrary, everything seems to go wrong and your plans collapse, learn to recognize its sovereignty in the circumstances you are going through. God is certainly doing something important in your life, something different from what you expected.

At such a time, it is essential to stay in communication with the Lord Jesus and accept that his ways are not your ways and that they are far better than those you imagine.

Do not try to understand everything that's going on. Just trust God and thank him in advance for the good that he will bring out of this situation.

While you may have made plans for this day, remember that God is the one who perfectly orchestrates all the events of your life. He knows the plans he has formed for you, and they are definitely good for your life ! (Jeremiah 29.11)

An action for today

Begin this day by saying to the Lord Almighty God : "You are the big boss, you are the boss! You are the Lord of my life !"
