You have so much to give him

"He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and make myself known to him." John 14.21

"I have nothing to bring that could please Jesus ... My life is a disaster, it's total chaos, I have no talent, no money ..."

Do you recognize yourself in these words ? Do you know someone who could say that of herself ?

I think the enemy is a liar.

The Bible says he is the father of lies (John 8.44). It means that no truth is in him. The enemy tries to implant lies in you in order to separate you from Jesus, from his grace and from his love.

Which lie do I refer to in particular ? To this one : "I have nothing to give to Jesus."

You can give your love to Jesus, your heart to Jesus, your tears to Jesus.

I would like to tell you about a woman who loved Jesus in her own way. We read in Luke 7:37, 38 : "A sinful woman who was in the city learned that he was at table in the house of the Pharisee, and brought a vase full of perfume, and stood behind it at the feet of Jesus. and soon she wetted her feet with her tears, then wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and poured the perfume on them."

We do not even know the name of this woman. We just know she was a "sinner". Yet she brought what she had : her scent and her tears.

In verse 47, Jesus says about this woman : "Her many sins have been forgiven, since she has loved much."

You can give what is inside you. You can literally pour out your soul and your life at his feet. You can give your love to Jesus, your heart to Jesus, your tears to Jesus.

Do not say anymore : "I have nothing to offer you, Jesus."

If you love him ... give him your love. Love it ... in your own way, with your "perfume." With your words. If you have no more words, with your tears. If you have no more tears, with your sighs. Love Jesus! Just love it, with what you have. Who are you with ?

A prayer for today

"Lord, I feel like I have little to give you, but what I have, I give it to you : I give you all my love, I love you, Jesus ! I offer you everything from me : take everything, Lord, amen."
