• Beware of the fighter's psychosis !

"After this, the LORD spoke to Abram in a vision : Fear not, Abram, said the Lord, I am your protector, your very great reward. Abram said : Lord God, that I would give ? I have no children, and Eliezer of Damascus will inherit all my possessions. You have not given me any offspring, he went on, and it is a servant attached to my service who will be My heir. " Genesis 15: 1-3

Having declared to Abram that he was his protector, the Lord added this other promise : "Your reward will be very great." He said to him in substance : "Do not be afraid, I am the one who protects you, and who provides promptly and abundantly: I will never leave you, you have no fear to have."

Be careful not to fall into disbelief in the aftermath of a great victory.

Notice that Abram does not react with faith; On the contrary, he put the word of the Lord in question. After the brilliant victory he had won against five kings, one might have thought that his faith would be stronger than ever. But no ! He doubted God's promises. He was suffering from the fighter's psychosis.

As you go through difficult situations with God, beware of the fighter's psychosis. Be careful not to fall into disbelief in the aftermath of a great victory.

    Action for Today

Stay in faith, proclaim the Word of God, and rest. You will thus guard your heart against the psychosis of the fighter and win victory after victory !
