• It must sow before of harvest

"Give, and God will give you. We will pour a lot of grains into the large pocket of your garment. The grains will be well shaken, tight, they will overflow ! Indeed, God will give you as you give to others !" Luke 6.38

A few months before our marriage, I was present with my fiancee Muriel at a concert which was the occasion of our first big dispute. Muriel wanted to make a generous offering with his own money. But as soon as the concert was over, I made a whole scene for him. If I were angry, it was because I lacked generosity !

Shortly afterwards, God tested me directly on this subject. It made me intent on selling all my sound equipment, which I used for the Church and for the youth camps, and to give the whole sum raised to the Church to help finance the construction of the building . He convinced me also to give the guitar that I particularly liked and that I had bought with my very first pay. It was not easy. At first I rejected this idea. Then, with a twinge in my heart, I finally obeyed by separating myself from all these objects.

When God asks us to sow it is because he wants to make this seed germinate so that it produces an abundant fruit for his glory !

Muriel and I knew that to get married and go to Bible school, we were going to need money. But what God expected of us was to take a step of faith, to rely on him and only on him. Through this seed, he also wanted to prepare a financial blessing for our future. We had nothing left, but we were happy. It was then that we began to experience the miraculous provision of God.

Since that day, I no longer count the graces that we have received, as a gift from our Heavenly Father, whenever we needed it, throughout our life as a couple : sums of money to finance the school Biblical, computer, and even countless cars ! And these are just a few examples of God's provision for us.

Here is the biblical principle that I learned in those years : we must sow to harvest. When God asks us to sow something, even money, it is not to take away anything from us, but it is because he wants to make this seed germinate so that it produces an abundant fruit , For his glory !

    An action for today :

What could you sow today ? Take a step of faith and you will see God provide miraculously to your needs !
