• Love the life

"What is your life ? A light mist visible for a few moments and quickly dissipates" James 4:14

Life passes quickly, a simple vapor that appears and disappears. For 45 years I have been privileged to live, it is a pure grace. It is a blessing to grow old and have her hair become white. I have a friend who died at the age of 23 in a car accident. I imagine he would have liked to grow old and wrinkle. Sometimes we do not realize the grace we have. One becomes so unhappy with all kinds of fears ... Fear of the other, afraid of aging, fear of being poor, fear of not being strong enough, fear of being rejected ...

Let go and seize the life that the Lord has for you.

Love life, love your friends, your congregation, your family. Take time to appreciate those around you, laugh, say I love you ! We often think that happiness comes from outside: "I would be happy the day I had a bigger car, a bigger house, a big salary, etc." And in the meantime, time is running out. Happiness comes from within! Happiness is when a person is at peace with God and with herself.

How much time do you have left to live ? King Hezekiah should have died at a certain age, but after his prayer the Lord granted him fifteen more years. Unfortunately, instead of using this time to properly educate his child Manasseh, to take care of his family and the Kingdom of God, he sought to please men more. The consequence was terrible. After his death, the kingdom of Judah collapsed and his son was one of the worst kings in history. This tragic account shows the importance of our priorities. What are you going to do with the time you have left ? Develop your relationship with God ? Enjoy more from your family ? Spending more time with your friends or looking to appear ?

Laugh, cry, talk, dance, pray, eat, sing, suffer, love, praise, live ... You have so many beautiful adventures to live.

    A prayer for today

Lord, I realize the grace you give me. May my life be pleasing to you, amen.
