• The castle of the giant Despair

Jesus Christ has already crossed the castle of the giant Despair. he holds the keys to death and hell, and he has opened the doors. So, why are millions there to sweat, to try every possible thing to get rid of their bad habits and slavery ? They become members of new sects or ancient pagan religions, hear new theories, go see psychiatrists. But why ? Jesus frees men. He does it all the time.

This is the Gospel ! You do not preach about it, or present its content to the discussion. The gospel is not a subject of discussion. It is a proclamation of deliverance. The dialogue ? The gospel is not open to modification. It is obligatory, it is a royal and divine edict. Some deliverance systems and theories are links in themselves, full of ongoing demands and duties. Only Jesus saves.

I remember a man who tells me he is a "spiritual advisor".

However, he did not believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, nor that the Bible was the Word of God. As a result, I wondered how this "counselor" could advise anyone. I asked him : "Do they come to see you and then go away with broken hearts ?".

"Oh, no," he assured me, "I just calm them down." I looked into his eyes and said : "Sir, a man on a sinking ship needs more than a tranquilizer. Do not give him a tablet, he is already compressed. When Jesus comes to a man in a shipwreck, he does not give him a stamp of Valium saying : "Die in peace." He holds out his hand marked by the nail, seizes it, lifts it up and tells him : "I live and you will live too".

It is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is to be preached. Jesus is the Savior of our world. This message is life, peace and health for the mind, the soul and the body.
