The concept eternity or drop

God created man in his image, but God is eternal.

All men believers or not this notion of eternity engraved in them. Whatever their beliefs, all men have in common, life does not end after death. But how eternity, consider a simple example.

The drop Imagine a drop of water.

Imagine it represents 100 years of life.

Every year, every key moment of your life is a part. Now think that this drop is facing eternity, to the infinite: throw it in a glass of water. Imagine always inside of this drop, surrounded by all the thousands and thousands of other drops.
They are only the continuation of life on earth, yet each is directly influenced by the drop in which you are. But of course, eternity is more than a glass of water. Take this glass and throw it in a large bowl. This time the drop seems even smaller and insignificant. Yet it is so, all your life.
Now take the pan and discard in an ocean Maybe begins does one a bit better understand what eternity means now. But we're not there yet.
Turn the water in the ground and throw in the ocean. Turn the sun in water and throw in the earth.
Turn the world into water, multiply everything by a hundred thousand billion and throw in the sun. And what-obtained?
Just another drop of water to throw in a new ocean. Eternity is infinity.
This drop of water, that's what your life is compared to eternity, but what man is in relation to an infinite God.
