• The mandate transmitted (continued)

Let me put the points on the "i". As long as this fundamental command is not applied, everything else is irrelevant.

For my part, I believe that we should approach things with humility and pray so that the garment of the men and women of God of the past rests on us. There would be no Church today if it was not their waking power. Many of them were true Elijahs. They took charge of the Great Mission and became the brightest torches of God.

John had the thought of Jesus writing : "Brothers and sisters, I am not writing a new commandment, but an old commandment, the one you have received from the beginning. This ancient commandment is the word that you have heard from the beginning" (1 John 2:7). Jesus does not spend his time enacting new laws, like governments today. What he said once, he said it once and once and for all. His word is still his will.

All he could say about "new" is already in his Word. There are no hidden secrets for higher saints. His instructions are simply : "Go !"

A motorist waiting at the red light did not pay attention when it turned green. Behind him, an irritated driver jumped out of his car and said : "This fire says, Come on! Do you expect personal confirmation from the Minister of Transport ?"

We have the green light of God. Let's go ahead !
