"The Lord gave David victory wherever he went." 1 Chronicles 18.6

    David had a remarkable life.

Of unknown young shepherd, he became a giant slayer, conquering warrior and king of Israel.

However, even being king, he faced enormous obstacles, which did not prevent him to defeat all his enemies.

And his army was victorious even when he was not with his troops. Want to win in your life? ...

Entrust your life to God. Serve ...

David was so well known for his victories as the king of Zoba paid him tribute without a fight.

Nobody wanted to face a warrior and a people who still were winning victory.

The blessings of God enabled Israel to gain wealth and resources.

David did all these riches? He consecrated to the Lord. God's blessings were visible throughout the country.

And "David reigned over all Israel. There was just and right for all the people."

What was the reason for this success?

Clearly, David was a skilled strategist. He knew to surround themselves with loyal friends and was clearly a strong leader.

But the real reason for his success was that "the Lord gave victory to David wherever he went" (1 Chronicles 18.6).

That looks like a successful life.

The victory everywhere. The victory over every enemy.

    The victory in every fight.

    The victory over every obstacle.

The victory in every area of his life. Security. The peace. Safety. Delivery. Prosperity. Wisdom. Relationships. Finances.

Want to win in your life?

    Follow the example of David.

Entrust your life to God. Serve.

Let it lead you and guide you.

Obey his Word and be faithful in all situations.

Be full of faith face any enemy and any obstacle, and ready to move forward boldly, without fear.

Spend time in prayer, and if you need wisdom, ask it to him.

And fill your life of adoration and praise.

This is the path to victory, always and everywhere.

    A Prayer for Today

Father, I want the kind of victory that you gave to David. I entrust my needs. Thank you for victory. I adore and praise you. In the name of Jesus. Amen. John Roos
